Home Delivered Hot Meals

Home Delivered Hot Meals – deliver hot meals to homebound clients, meals are delivered three times a week,  Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 – 2 ½ hour route.

Home Delivered Hot Meals – deliver hot meals to one location like an apartment complex ( Jefferson House Apt, ) meals are delivered three times a week.

Frozen Meals – delivery is done once every four weeks, we currently have 13 routes, commitment time is one day per month.

Dining Site Driver – pick clients up from home and transport them to the dining center;
commitment time is twice a week.

Special Transportation – pick clients up from home and transport them to medical appointments
locally or grocery store.

Activity Leader or Site Helper

Site Helper – assist site manager in heating meals, prepare fruit cups, bread, and milk, serve coffee and hot chocolate to clients

Activity Leader – present nutrition, exercise, health, craft, or music activities, etc.

Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP)

Volunteer counselors help seniors and their families understand and deal with Medicare, Medicare supplements and long-term care insurance.

(Those licensed to sell or consult in insurance are not eligible volunteers.)

Special Projects

Senior Dance – this event is held in May, volunteers are needed to set up tables, chairs, decorate, and assist in serving refreshments, etc.
